Danielle Ate the Sandwich
Born and bred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with dual passions for music and education. he opted for the pragmatic route and earned a Bachelors Degree in Community Education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. After college, Rev split his time as an educator and as an adjunct music historian and lecturer at The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Growing up the sights and sounds of Milwaukee’s industrial powerhouse in flux were an inspiration for his music, infusing it with strong esteem for the common man. It’s probably no surprise that his heroes include Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Josh White, Sonny Terry, Cicso Houston and Leadbelly.
Every KYukefest starts out with a rousing performance from Mim. She gets the crowd going with her unique twist on vintage classics. No two performances are the same!
Known for his jovial nature and irresistible dance moves, you won’t want to miss his group singalong, or the annual downtown ukulele flashmob.
